Other recycled PS pellets
PS (Polystyrene)
PS is a colorless‑transparent general‑purpose thermoplastic and ranks among high‑transparency general‑grade plastics. Core features: favorable optical performance with light transmittance exceeding 90 %. It is rigid yet brittle, glass‑like in hardness but with low impact strength and prone to cracking. It boasts excellent processability and electrical insulation, low molding shrinkage and good dimensional stability. Nevertheless, it exhibits poor heat resistance (long‑term service temperature generally ≤ 80 °C) and unsatisfactory weather resistance, susceptible to aging and yellowing.
Main Applications
Daily‑use articles & packaging: widely applied in disposable tableware such as plastic cups and food containers, transparent CD/DVD cases, stationery (rulers, pen holders), toys and food‑packaging vessels.
Electrical & electronic products: instrument housings, lamp shades, insulating films and high‑frequency capacitor components.
Construction & thermal‑insulation: Expanded Polystyrene (EPS, commonly known as styrofoam) serves as an important lightweight building material for wall thermal insulation, sound insulation and cushioning packaging.
Please specify your additional requirements for recycled PS pellets: color, impact resistance, gloss level, flame retardancy, heat resistance, environmental compliance, surface pits and other physical‑property parameters.
MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing. After‑sales: return and replacement for quality‑related defects.
